3 pilots made their first Swiftlight solo flight

The first 3 pilots trained by ADPUL made their first Swiftlight solo flight last week-end at Aspres sur Buech airfield in the french southern Alps. Great weather, stable air mass, very light wind.
They each started with 6 bungee launches, on a flat ground enabling them to perform 200 till 300 meters glides, very near the ground, so as to discover the Swiftlight’s handling, and to learn landing it.
Then after a 45 minutes cockpit check, during which Jac made an adapted briefing, they each made their first solo flight aerotowed by ADPUL’S ultralight trike. During the flight they got flight guidance by radio.
This method was so efficient that by their second flights, they each were able to manage their approches and landings successfully without any more radio instructions. And the luckiest who had a third solo flight Saturday could benefit from good thermals and achieved a 2 hours flight 🙂

The 3 happy pilots were , Christian, hangglider pilot and 3 axes ultralight pilot, Patrice, glider pilot and ultralight flight instructor, and Michel, hangglider pilot, and recently glider pilot. Congratulation and many good ultralight gliders training flights:-)
The week before, Sylvain also had a successful bungee launched training course, but he was not available for solo flights.
